Gadgets I love ❤️, software I use and things I recommend 👍

From the tech that powers my day-to-day 🌞, to the tools that boost my productivity, here's a curated list of essentials that enhance my digital life and workflow 🚀

Workstation

  • 💻 15” MacBook Pro (2016)

I’m pretty intrigued by the latest M2 MacBook Pros—their build quality is nothing short of impressive. Yet, here I am, with my trusty current Mac still going strong and meeting all my needs. It makes me think, perhaps an upgrade is in the cards for the near future, but for now, we’re still cruising along just fine.

  • 🖥️ HP 27 inch LED display

Good quality monitor, gets work done. Having a monitor improves productivity by 10x—everyone should have one!

  • ⌨️ iClever wireless keyboard

I really resisted spending on the mechanical keyboards from Keychron. This is a cheap alternative and gets things done.

  • 🖱️ Apple Magic Mouse

Took a while to get used to it, but once you're done, you can't live without it. Very good for design and photography editing work.

  • 🧍Height adjustable desk

This is one of the best buys! Wish I would have known about it earlier. Now, I get my daily bits of sit-ups because of it.

Photography Gear

  • 📷 Canon 5D Mark III

Bought this way back when it used to be all the rage, and then the mirrorless cameras conquered the world. I still love it for my portrait and landscape work.

  • 📷 Canon 7D

Bought this refurbished body in a good deal. I use this as a second camera for my wildlife tours due to its high shutter speed.

  • 📷 Lenses : 24-105, 100-400, 50mm

Though I lean towards prime lenses, having a budget-friendly set with a good range is like having options for every occasion—a win-win!

  • 📷 Fuji x100s

An amazingly great fixed focal length camera. I really love it; it's very light, and the print quality is amazing."

  • 📷 Fuji Instant Camera

It's a good toy, it produces instant memories that don't get lost in the software world. I love hard-tech, you see.

  • 📱 Iphone 12Pro

I refuse to upgrade my current iPhone to the next iPhone XX. It's a great camera for family photos while traveling.

Design

  • 🎨 Figma

Great tool for non-designers as well. The learning curve is moderate, but the output can be really beautiful.

  • 📸 Lightroom

My go-to app for editing photos, Photoshop is too complicated for me.

Productivity

  • 📝 Todoist

If you need just one productivity app, it has to be a to-do app. I use it religiously, and it helps me stay on top of things.

  • 🔄 Habit

I am a fan of James Clear, and I have built several great habits using his methodology. I use this app to track my habits.

  • 🗒️ Obsidion

No-nonsense knowledge management platform. Syncs well across all devices, and data is locally stored.
