I’m Akhil 🙋‍♂️ I live in India, where I innovate for a green future 🌍

I am a problem solver and entrepreneur with 16+ years of experience, including nearly a decade in the energy industry and the rest as an entrepreneur building SaaS and gaming companies.

My experience is at the intersection of Hardtech (Developed oil & gas projects for Shell), Deeptech (Worked with various technologies for energy systems and digital solutions) and software (Built couple of companies in software)

During my time at Shell, I travelled to exciting places worldwide, from working in the Petronas Tower in Kuala Lumpur to working in oil & gas facilities in Iraq amidst the war. My love for travel didn't stop there; I travelled to all seven continents, with Antarctica being one of my favorite continents 😍

After my travelling adventures, I pivoted into the digital technology space as I strongly believed that eventually, every company will be a tech-enabled company. 💡

I like to learn hands-on, so I jumped straight into action, and I started up a bootstrapped SaaS company Stagephod in the video marketing space followed by a venture-funded gaming company called One World Nation.

I love solving problems that create impact at scale, and I have done this in various industries from Music, Media, gaming, & the energy industry. 🌎

I have been looking for my next big problem statement, I've turned my attention to one of humanity's most pressing issues: climate change. This problem is uniquely complex because it can be solved via a combination of hard-tech and software technologies; it requires deep research, extensive networks, and substantial capital to transition technologies from innovative ideas to scalable solutions.

Therefore, my mission is to solve the climate change problem by enabling faster progress to net-zero achievement by empowering entrepreneurs with content, connections, and capital. I believe climate tech has the potential to create trillion-dollar companies! 💼🌱

Besides my tech and business adventures, I've got a creative side too. In university, I started up a rock band called Feedback, playing gigs all across the country. 🎸 I'm also into wildlife photography, and out of all my travels, Kenya is an amazing place for wildlife photography. 📸 Reading is a big passion of mine as well; books keep me inspired. 📚
